The scheme involved building a two-storey extension to the existing school that would run parallel to the street (Diepenbeekallee), thus enclosing the playground in a new way. The building incorporates 4 classrooms on the upper floor and a day-care centre on the lower floor. The extension harmonises well with the existing building as it has the same proportions, gutter and roof ridge heights and roof pitch.
