The sports hall has been designed as an extension to the existing Martin-Butzer Grammar School. It can be divided into 3 separate units. Smaller rooms are distributed on two stories that are partially sunk into the ground. In spite of its low budget, the result is a benchmark building with ambitious design based on clarity of forms and simple architectural elements, natural materials and congruence with its surroundings.
